Automotive Engineering: A Way to a Successful Career

One of the best courses nowadays is automotive engineering. It involves examining the operating standards of vehicles. It may also comprise of proficiency management, mechanical system, hydraulic system and electrical processes. Since the industry of automotive is quickly growing, there are several people who want to have a degree program in automotive courses.

Some of the degree programs of automotive engineering offer lots of courses in mechanical engineering and automotive design engineering. The colleges that offer this kind of course give direct application and hands-on training for an array of careers in the industry. This course specializes in the field of vehicle engineering and it can be divided into three main fields of study. The three main fields of this course are manufacturing, development and production.

Manufacturing engineers are those involved in making and building different automobiles, while development engineers are those who were involved on the different attributes of a sedan that includes speed, durability and performance. On the other hand, production engineers focus more on the design systems and components of a vehicle. It also involves designing and testing of the vehicles’ parts and includes coordinating tests to make sure that all automobiles meet the national standards set by the government.

Automotive engineers have several responsibilities and job description that they need to comply with after completing all their trainings. As they finished the degree program of this course, engineers can now design the car’s systems and components. They also need to determine the best attributes for a specific sedan or for a future vehicle.

They also need to develop codes and standards for a well-organized manufacturing. Automotive engineers must determine the costs and implement the procedures to lessen the production costs. They are also expected to introduce and develop new strategies and systems for the production of automotives. In addition, they also need to make sure that they follow the government regulations during the process of the making a vehicle.

Aside from developing and designing, they also need to determine the drive ability of the each vehicle. They also need to implement quality procedures and control strategies. When there is a problem, they also need to solve all the troubles in automotive engineering. Lastly, they must conduct statistical analysis as required. All the graduates from this course can have several career options like vehicle manufacturing engineer, operations research, systems engineer, vehicle dynamics controller, performance engineer, noise, vibration and harshness engineer (NVH), emissions controller or research and safety engineering.

How to Become an Automobile Designer

Start Learning

Transportation design courses are relatively rare among schools that teach industrial design, but those classes are exactly where a would-be car designer should start. Considering there are less than two-dozen transportation design schools in the world and that many people aspire careers as car designers, the car design field is very crowded and competitive. In fact, many schools won’t consider an applicant who does not already have a design portfolio, so some people are ruled out of consideration almost right away.

Choosing a Transportation Design Course

Schools that teach transportation design are scattered around the globe. The most sensible first-choices for an applicant are the schools that are closest to home. However, a careful examination of a school’s reputation might make other options worthy of consideration. Faculty and educational philosophies can also play a part in choosing a transportation design course. Therefore, international study might be necessary.

Some of the most sought-after car design courses are given at schools located near automotive companies. These often have a close tie with the industry and good relations with the nearby automaker. In fact, some of these schools offer apprenticeships and mentoring programs that help students gain firsthand experience in the automotive industry.

Schools that offer car design courses can vary as to how much they emphasize engineering skills versus modeling skills, so prospective students should weigh that information with their own preferences. They also vary as to the amount of equipment available in academic design studios and how often students can access those studios.

Many schools appear at college and career shows, giving prospective students a chance to meet current students and learn more about available programs. Therefore, attending one of these shows is recommended before a student makes any final decisions.

Qualifications

Car design courses require that applicants have talent before even being considered for acceptance. This means that a prospective student must have demonstrable drawing skills and work samples to prove they have a certain amount of ability.

Schools generally want to select applicants with high school design and art experience under their belt as well as solid credentials in mathematics and physics. High school writing credits are also a plus because car designers must have the ability to communicate well on paper. Foreign language experience is also a plus, seeing that the auto industry is globally intertwined. Many graduates will find that their first job after graduation is in a country that speaks a different language.

Length of Study

Students should expect to spend three or four years studying for their undergraduate degree in transportation design. They usually study industrial design for a year before branching out into their specialized courses of study. Advanced degrees are available, which may offer a higher starting salary and greater job security, but not necessarily a better chance for landing a job as a automotive designer.

The Lead Acid Battery Leads the Charge in Automotive Design

Automotive lead acid batteries used to start car engines, are one of the oldest design of rechargeable battery in existence. The lead acid battery was primarily used for the storage of DC power and used in early commercial vehicles due to the weight and size. These batteries have literally dominated the marketplace for many years ever since their invention back in the early 1800’s and have continued to be an important automotive component to the point were there is one in every vehicle on the roads.

Today, automotive batteries used to start gasoline and diesel engines, are smaller, cheaper and more cost effective than their earlier cousins, supplying greater starting and surge currents than ever before at a fraction of their original price.

Not only does the lead acid battery provide the correct amount of electricity needed to start engines, but they also supply electricity for the ignition system, lights, indication, stereos and other such electronic features found on today’s modern vehicles.

The energy produced by a lead acid battery occurs via an internal chemical process which involves lead (hence their name), lead oxide and a liquid acid solution called the electrolyte. Solid lead and lead oxide plates are submerged within an electrolytic solution that consists of a very small percentage of sulphuric acid (H2SO4) mixed with distilled water. When electrical power is drawn from the battery, a chemical reaction takes place between the plates and liquid electrolyte releasing electrons. These free electrons in the form of an electrical current flow through electrical conductors mounted on the battery and out via lead terminals providing the electricity required to start the car.

As the lead acid battery becomes discharged, the sulphuric acid forms deposits onto the lead plates, but when the lead acid battery is recharged again, the sulphuric acid breaks down and returns back into their separate lead and lead oxide components. Heat is generated by this constant charging and discharging of the battery evaporating the water inside.

This evaporation meant that older lead acid batteries needed to be “topped-up” with more distilled water on a monthly basis but the modern maintenance free lead acid battery is fully sealed against leakage in which the electrolyte in the form of a gel is contained in separate compartments are now used. The result is that these fully sealed batteries can be rotated upside down or positioned sideways in the event of an accident without any risk of an acid leakage. Also these modern batteries have safety valves fitted which allow the venting of fumes during the charging, the discharging and changes in atmospheric pressure when driving at altitude.

The lead acid battery is the only batteries suitable to be used in alternative energy systems but the continuous cycle of discharging a battery into a load (night time hours) and then recharging the battery (sunlight hours) many times over requires a different type of battery as not all lead acid batteries are the same. The most important requirement of a battery is whether it is a Deep Cycle Battery or a Shallow Cycle Battery.

Consider automotive starting batteries. These batteries are cheap to buy but are designed to provide high amperes of current for very short periods of time (less than 10 seconds) to operate the starter motor and turn over the engine. After the car has started, the battery is then trickle charged by the cars alternator. Even on cold frosty mornings the cars battery is only discharged to less than 10% of its rated capacity at startup so automotive batteries are designed for this very shallow cycle service, (100% to 90% state of charge).

As a car battery is designed to deliver high currents for very short periods of time it is therefore made of many thin lead plates giving a large surface area for the chemical reaction to occur. These thin lead plates do not have the necessary mechanical strength for repeated cycling over a period of many years and wear out very quickly after only 200 to 400 cycles. Therefore shallow cycle car batteries which although they work, are not designed for a long term solar power or wind power system which requires a much deeper cycling service.

Deep Cycle Batteries on the other hand are designed to be repeatedly charged and discharged by as much as 80% of their full capacity (100% to 20% state of charge) without sustaining any serious damage to the cells before recharging, making the deep cycle battery an ideal choice for solar photovoltaic and wind power systems, as well as marine applications, golf buggies, fork lift trucks and other such electric vehicles. Although the deep cycle battery uses the same chemical reactions to store and generate energy as their automotive battery cousins, deep cycle batteries are made very differently.

The physical size of a deep cycle battery is much larger than a regular car battery due to the construction and size of their lead plates (electrodes). These plates are made of solid lead usually doped with Antimony (Sb) and are many times thicker than the thinner plates of a car battery. This means that deep cycle batteries can be repeatedly discharged almost all the way down to a very low charge and it is not uncommon for deep cycle batteries to be emptied (discharged) to as much as 20% of their total capacity before energy ceases flowing from the battery.

So to summarise, the lead-acid battery is the perfect choice for automotive cars, vans and motorcyles as it is reliable, inexpensive, and delivers high starting currents but for alternative energy systems, the deep cycle battery is the way to go as it can be charged and discharged many times over to a much lower value.

The Science of Automotive Designs

The automobile industry is a multi-billion dollar industry, specific attention is paid to the design of an automobile and the art of designing automobiles has a lot of science involved to it. Designers need to even look at the ergonomics when they are designing the appearance of a car. The people working on the design of a car are called automotive engineers. Normally, these people hold degrees in industrial design or transportation design.

Developing the visual appearance and the overall aesthetics of the car is the major job criterion. It is further divided into exterior styling, interior styling and color and trim design. The design of the vehicle needs to be in harmony with all its functions and accessories. Exterior styling refers to the exterior shape, surfaces, proportions and the external design of the car. Virtual models are first created before the actual prototypes. The main purpose of interior styling is to provide maximum convenience and comfort to the passenger. The shape, proportion and surfaces are also important here. The instrumental panel, seats, doors, windows, dash board etc are fall under the broad category of interior styling. The color and trim design team is primarily responsible for researching, designing and developing all the colors and materials which will be used in the interior and exterior design of the vehicle. Often, these designs follow a particular theme or concept. With the advent of computers and technology, computer-aided design is used by graphic designers to design 3D models of cars.

Historically, automotive design was not as significant as it is today. In 1924, a turning point occurred when General Motors decided to make annual model changes and urged the customers to develop a need to replace their car each year. Alfred P. Sloan Jr., the head of General Motors, referred to the strategy as dynamic obsolescence whereas critics slammed it as being planned obsolescence. Ford did not adopt this strategy and hence by 1931 General Motors outsold Ford. After that period the design of the car has acquired utmost importance in the eyes of a customer and car manufacturers constantly update models, even if the underlying function and design of the car remain the same.

Along with the physics of the car and a need to be aerodynamically stable, car manufacturers also need to focus their attention on the psychology of the customer. When a powerful car is mentioned, the image of a sleek design with a low and wide base comes to the mind since many of the sports cars manufactured follow that general theme. However, we have internalized these notions and we tend to generalize along these lines. It is difficult for manufactures to go beyond these stereotypes and beyond the psychology of the mass audience to innovate greatly. Car manufactures are constantly looking for major innovation to cater to market differentiation. Concept cars are often produced as prototypes to judge the reaction of people. Many car manufacturers believe that a concept that lacks context is simply confusing so there is great interest in developing stories around concept cars to create popularity.

Tips For Automotive Design Logo

Most companies believe that logos are the most important weapon they have to promote their services and make people know about them. In fact, a logo design allows us to analize the character of a particular company. Logos are used to represent a business or to allow the business exercise its marketing skills online. Logos can also help a company to develop a large database of clients and customers, towards the products or services it provides. Automotive design logo is a good example.

When designing an automotive logo you should keep in mind 3 things that are of great help to make the logo distinctive and very motivational: motive, latest trends and quality. An automotive logo, as any other kind of business logo, have to be related to the products or services a company provides, in this case they can be related to the basic components of bikes and automobiles. Some examples of automotive logos can be rubber tyres, bicycle handles, car wheels. Components of trucks and Harley Davidson bikes are very popular too.

It is very common that automobile companies get a logo design software or a logo design graphic tool to animate their logos by including some cartoon characters, others prefer to animate the automobile itself. For example, if a company wants the sales of tyres to increase, the tyre and the logo can be included in animated actions like crossing a finish line. A 3d logo designis also a popular choice.

Automotive logos must have some charm and magnetism to have a good impact on clients and make them show interest for their products, so it is necessary to choose the right colors and fonts. The most usual colors are black, green blue and red, because they represent excitement and adventure, also they are very motivational. Besides they provide a feeling of sporstmanship to bikers and sport car drivers in any country. As for the fonts, an automotive design logo focus on freestyle and oversize logos, the most usual fonts that can be found in automotive logos are those that are based in blackletter scripts like Celtic and gothic fonts.

A logo is a key part in contributing an automotive business to become successful and to stay like that, so you must be very careful if you want to design own logo. A good advice is not to include a lot of color and graphics into a single logo because it will make the logo look cheap and will give it a bad design. If you prefer you can look for a logo studio design to get a design logo professional.

Micro Switches and Things to Consider While Using Them

Do you know what is common among vending machines, printers, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwave ovens and photocopying machines? It’s a technology called micro switch. This technology is not confined to these machines and you will find many of them in almost every household or office premises. Let’s find out more.

Some people refer to this technology as Snap-Action switch or basic action switch as well. By having a closer look at this term and characteristics of this technology, it can be stated that this technology has been named so because of its miniature structure which is activated with very minimal force.

Let’s now get into further details and functionalities of this technology. It is an automated development which doesn’t always require human interaction and is normally complimented by movement of equipment on which it is installed. One thing which distinguishes it from other switches is its effectuation at pre-defined positions. Micro switches are available in the market with a wide range of sizes these days but in order to keep things simple, we can categorize it according to its size into three categories:

Miniature (having an approx. width of 28mm)
Subminiature (having an approx. width of 20mm)
Ultra subminiature (having an approx. width of 13mm)
These sizes are then combined with relevant terminals and actuators. Therefore, it is essential to opt for the right terminals and actuators. In terminals, we have cables, pins and other connects while in actuators, we have plungers, levers and rollers.
While handling these switches, it is important to take few considerations into account for a safe and reliable experience. Let’s first talk about the type and size of load. Load is an important factor while dealing with switches because all loads have different capacities of drawing the current when initially turned-on like inrush current of a motor will always be higher than that of a relay.

Having said that, it is also important that high current micro switches are not used to switch medium-small loads and that is why experts always recommend to use gold-plated connections when installing them. Ingress Protection ratings (IP ratings) are international standards defining the levels of effectiveness by which mechanical casing is protected.

For these switches, IP rating up to IP67 is advisable which will keep them durable even in damp or grimy conditions. Another key consideration is the usage of circuits that have the ability of contact protection. These circuits are especially designed to neutralize the surge of load and current. Next important point is the shape of the switch. If the shape is round, it will be helpful in preventing the shocks to actuator. And there is a last advice which suggests that the bolts of the switch must not be too tight or in other words, the screws must not affect the body of switch through its stiffness.

Micro switch is indeed a technology from which you can’t take our eyes off as it plays a significant role in handling numerous appliances around us. I hope these recommendations will help our readers in opting for the right set of switches and compliments associated with this technology.

How to Create a Video Marketing Strategy That Gets Results

3 Steps to Reaching Your Ideal Customer with Video Content

Is video a part of your marketing strategy? If it’s not, it has to be! Why? Well, consumers are now comfortable with being marketed to via videos, and many now expect it from the brands they know and trust.

I know it took me a while to get comfortable with video, especially the ones that required getting me in front of the camera! But there are many ways videos can be done so if you’re camera shy, fear not, you don’t need to be a video star to get started.

The truth is, having a well-written product description, catchy paid ad or slick landing page isn’t enough to cut it for a lot of your target audience anymore. According to a recent survey by Wyzowl, 84% of respondents said that they’ve been convinced to buy a product or service by watching a brand’s video.

Now, maybe you’re nodding your head that yes, you do focus on video marketing. That’s great! But do you have a strategy in place based on your ideal customer profile, or are you simply throwing content out there, hoping that something will stick?

According to CISCO, video traffic will be 82% of all global consumer internet traffic by 2021.

Here are a few video marketing benefits to further convince you that a carefully crafted plan is worth it:

You can build awareness around your product or service.
It’s a clever way to engage/entertain your target audience on your website/social media
It helps clearly explain your product or service to people.
It contributes to customer retention if you offer valuable tips and advice.
It’s time to seize the opportunity to utilize this essential, yet often-overlooked marketing tactic.
Here are three steps to create a video marketing strategy that increases engagement, leads and sales.

1. Choose your channels.

Not every brand should be creating YouTube videos, nor should every small business owner put videos on their website’s home page.

For example, I’ve found Twitter to be the best platform for sharing our blogs and articles, but Facebook is where it’s at to connect with my target audience via video. Could crafting Facebook Live videos be your ticket to your customers’ hearts?

To give you some insight into what platforms might be best for your small business, here’s a quick breakdown:

YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world (after Google, who owns it). You’ll find a huge range of industries and topics on this platform.
Twitter is generally used more as a news site than a social media site, and content has always been largely consumed on mobile.
LinkedIn is a sweet spot for sharing more professional material. LInkedIn claims that people say it’s 3 times as trustworthy for delivering worthwhile content, compared to other social platforms.
Faccebook: According to Facebook, there were more than 3.5 billion live broadcasts in 2018. Since 2016, Facebook Live broadcasts have doubled each year.
Snapchat is growing fast and is generally associated with a younger user base (think millennials).
TikTok is also considered a platform for youth; stats show that roughly 50% of the global audience is under the age of 34; 26% are between 18 and 24.
So, where is your ideal customer hanging out?
2. Plan your content carefully.

I’m not telling you that every word has to be scripted, or that you can’t do an impromptu Facebook Live to respond to a current event.

But before you record your message, ask yourself a few questions. Will this footage add value to your customer’s life? Does it represent your brand’s voice, tone and mission? Are you succinctly explaining yourself and providing a clear call to action?

To find the answers to these questions, always go back to your ideal customer profile (ICP). This will tell you what your target audience is, from their age bracket and occupation, to their lifestyle and pain points.

As part of figuring out your ideal customer profile, you probably crafted buyer personas as part of your initial branding strategy. If you haven’t done up brand personas to define your ideal target market, contact us to find out how we can help.

And it’s not just about what you say, but how long it takes you to say it. A big part of your video marketing strategy will be determining the length of your content. For example, research shows that Instagram videos should be around 30 seconds long and YouTube about two minutes. BuzzSumo found that the top-performing Facebook Lives are 15 to 20 minutes long.

By building out a calendar and planning your timing in advance, using this tactic will be easier and more effective. You won’t be fumbling for ideas at the last minute or shooting stuff that doesn’t resonate with your target audience.

3. Try it out and test it repeatedly!

Many small business owners are intimidated by the idea of shooting content to share with their customers.

But you don’t need a huge budget, fancy equipment or movie-star looks to be successful. What you do need is the ability and willingness to listen to your customers.

Just like you would for a display ad campaign or a landing page, you should look at your data to figure out what’s working and what isn’t. You can see how a campaign is performing by measuring things like:

Engagement rate: This measures the interaction someone had with your content, including time watched and whether or not they skipped through.
Play rate: This is the percentage of visitors who actually clicked play and began watching.
Social sharing: This shows how many people are sharing your footage across social platforms.
A/B testing can be a valuable way to look at things like what performs better at what time of day, which channels are best for a specific piece of content and what length your target audience prefers.

Medical Coder and Biller Job Qualifications

A medical coder analyzes clinical documents and translates them into proper codes by using specifications. They work behind the scenes of every hospital or clinical setup. Medical billers are health claim specialists who typically work in an office setup, and are responsible for processing insurance claims on health for hospitals and other medical staff. Here, let’s learn some more about medical coders and billers who both of which are different professions, yet are an integral part of our health care system.

In particular, medical coders and billers have the following functions to perform:

1) Have a special coding procedure and system to choose diagnoses.

2) Making sure correct codes are entered into the patient’s health records.

3) Maintain the privacy of the patient’s health background.

4) Interacting between patients and insurance companies regarding health policy claims.

5) Tracking payments to make sure they are done on time.

6) Working with other staff members to ensure accuracy.

There are certain qualities expected from a person when he/she is working in a particular field. The same is expected of medical coders and billers. Let’s check out what attributes can make you a pro in this field of work:

DEDICATION

This is the first and foremost quality every workplace expects from its employees. Medical claims and related works require the use of thousands of codes, and it is a huge system that requires hard work, patience, and resilience. A coder should make sure his coding work is done accurately and a biller should be focused on the smooth flow of work in the medical billing arena.

PROBLEM SOLVERS

Both coders and billers are expected to think spontaneously and act quickly and wisely when a problem arises. Coders are sometimes required to extra research, do follow up with doctors and patients, and ensure proper information is collected. In the case of billers, they are supposed to track payment details and make sure no problem arises and if it does, they should make sure the issue is sorted between the patient and the insurance provider.

ADAPTABILITY

This is another virtue that is expected from medical coders and billers, both. You need to be ever-changing with the situation around you, keeping in mind that you’re working in an environment involving doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, patients, and of course the medical issues. Coders need to be capable enough to make codes and methods with the need of time, as required by the healthcare sector. Similarly, billers are expected to make billing options more user friendly for both ends, by adopting the latest technology and electronic means.

Why It’s About Time to Switch to Paying Your Bills Online

Simplify Online Bill Payments

While most people use mobile banking app/online accounts to pay their bills, they often get confused with the different options available. Do you need to pay through the billing company? Would it be better to pay through your bank? Can you use both options at the same time? Understand how to go about with online payments to know the advantages of each option and simplify the process.

How to do Online Bill Payment

Mobile and online bill payments come in two major types.

You can go straight to the website/app of the billing company, like for example, your cable company or insurance provider, then pay the bill there. As a rule, you can use your credit/debit cord or make an arrangement with your bank to debit it from your account. An advantage of paying on the billing company’s site is you know the exact amount to be paid. If you have several bills, though, it can be tiresome to log in to multiple sites every month.

The other option is to pay a bill through your bank. Almost all banks, financial institutions and credit unions provide this service. You just need to set things up using your mobile banking app/online account and, after a few seconds, you can make a bill payment. It is as simple as choosing the payee/s, keying the due amount, and selecting a delivery date. In case you do not want to pay bills by hand on a monthly basis, the majority of banks let you set up automatic recurring payments, so you can schedule your payments to avoid missing a bill payment whenever it is due. To streamline your payments, you just need to log in to the provided space and remember your password. In addition, it is easier to check your account balance.

The Advantages of Online Payments

Paying online using your mobile device is quick and easy, plus it allows you to schedule payments. Your payment dates can be synchronized with your paychecks/pay bills from various accounts. Most importantly, most banks and billing companies employ first-rate security features. For instance, Bank of America encrypts your personal details so they cannot be read during transit, and automatically signs off when your banking session is open but inactive for a long time. Besides security, you can reduce costs when using electronic payments, saving on cash and stamps.

Overall, electronic payments enable you to manage, monitor and review your payments, whether you pay via your bank or billing company. You can also search for specific bills that you paid. Whenever you pay multiple bills online using your bank or mobile banking app, you can view your payment history. Also, a lot of banks provide email notifications as a reminder of payments due.

Keywords And Content, Best Strategies For SEO

The Importance Of Keywords In Your Online Business

There is no denying the importance of keywords used in any content that is placed on the Web. Keywords allow you and everyone else who uses the Web the ability to find what you are looking for. If you need just one bit of information, you likely would spend countless hours in research trying to find it if it was not for keywords.

As an Internet marketing professional, how do keywords relate to your own business? Usually, if you are using the Web as a marketing tool in any way, keywords are an important component.

We also compare it to the importance of quality content. Is it possible to have great content and still have great keywords in your final copy? It is possible, and in fact, it is necessary to do this if you wish to have a successful website or blog. Before getting into these details, let’s start at the beginning.

WHAT ARE KEYWORDS AND WHERE TO USE THEM-

What are keywords? These are words individuals will type into a search box when they are looking for something online. For example, let us say you are looking to purchase a table. You get online, go to the search box, and type in the word “table” into the search box. The search engines start looking for websites that relate to your search. Within seconds, there is a long list or results in front of you (called the search engine results page) that you can choose from.

Now, on the flip side of the coin, if you owned a website selling tables, you would want to attract this person to your website. To do so, you need to have your website displayed on the search engine results page. To do this, you need to have the most appropriate keywords on your website. So, for example, you need to have the world “table” used properly on your website for the search engine results to actually see your website as valuable to this search.

SEO-

Using keywords will help you prove your value to the search engines. The key is to know what helps you to rank well and what may not help you. Less than a decade ago, people took advantage of the keywords. Pages and pages of websites had virtually nothing but keywords on them. The problem is, when a website is packed with just keywords, it is likely not to be packed with information.

Here is an example to consider: John designs a website to attract visitors who he hopes will visit the affiliate pages he is linking to. So, he plans to put lots of keywords on his page. That way, his website will rank well, right?

There are two problems with this process. First, there is little chance that anyone who comes to such a page will feel it valuable enough to stick around and click onto affiliate links.

Second, Google and other search engines have made significant changes to their complex algorithms. Websites that have too many keywords on them will be ranked lower in the search engine results pages.

The key is to know what the actual best percentages are. Of course, Google is not going to tell you just how many keywords to use. They do offer a lot of in-depth information that you can use, though. It is this information that you want to rely on to get the results you are looking for. Google is not the bad guy: They want to provide individuals who use their search engines with the best websites online to solve their inquiries.

WHERE TO USE KEYWORDS –

Where should you use keywords? Keywords should be found in virtually anything you place online. Here are some places to use them.

 Place them into each article on your website.  Place them on your home page and sales pages.  Place keywords in your blog posts.  Use keywords in your product descriptions.  Use keywords on your website and in your blog tags and headings.  Use them on contact pages, FAQ pages, and just about any page on your website.

Doing this is essential to getting a high page ranking in the search engine result pages. Yet, you do not have to make this a complex process. In fact, it is often best to put keywords in the back of your mind while writing content for your website. Write what really matters and then come back to keywords later.

CONTENT IS KING –

One of the earliest phrases used still stands true. “Content is king” when it comes to Internet marketing. If you are putting up a page on your website, you want the person who visits your website to say, “Wow, this is great. I’m bookmarking this page to come back here often.”

The best way to do this is to include quality information on each of the pages of content you provide to your readers. In a few minutes, we will go through the process of providing quality content. Before doing so, consider what would happen if you did not have good information on your website.

1. You use keywords on your pages, but fill them with fluff content. Your reader gets to your page and thinks, “this does not help me,” and moves on.

2. The reader gets to your website and finds errors. You can no longer be trusted and they leave your site.

3. The affiliate programs you are working to earn money from visit your website. They find it poorly designed with little information. They decide that you are not a good fit for their company. They no longer offer you membership in the affiliate program.

4. You get no inbound links to your website. Inbound links are those which are pointing to your website. Google finds these to be valuable when ranking websites. If another website (or several of them) find your website to be a good resource, they definitely will rank your website higher. But, other websites will not do this if your content is poor in quality.

5. You make little to no money at your website since it is poorly ranked and is not attracting any repeat visitors.

Content for your website needs to be well-written and organized. It needs to be informative and useful to anyone who will visit and read it.

BEST STRATEGIES KEYWORDS AND CONTENT

Now that you have the basics about keyword usage and the importance of content, how do you bring the two things together so that your website will prosper?

There is no direct formula for doing so, but you can find some real results if you implement a number of known methods to help you. Google itself often provides a great deal of suggestions in terms of keyword usage. In your balancing act for quality content and keyword ranking, keep the following strategies in mind.

GO WITH QUALITY CONTENT FIRST

First things first, write quality content for your website. Nothing else will be as important to the success of your business has having quality content on it. There are several ways you can do this successfully.

1. Use factual information You want individuals to come to your website knowing that what you have to say is real and valuable to them. Therefore, each page should contain factual information. Before you post a blog post or an article, verify the information you are going to present. For example, going back to the example about the table search, be sure that you are providing factual information on the wood type, size, history or other topic.

2. Make it interesting Coming to a website filled with lines and lines of information that is boring is going to be so dull people will leave. Without spending too much time in the process, add some statistics. Use descriptive language that paints the picture for the reader, “these mahogany tables are designed in the style used by Ancient Romans… ”

3. Become a resource One of the best ways to ensure you have quality information on your website is to make your website the one-stop shop for all information on that niche. For the reader, a website that contains all of the information they need is going to be highly valuable. You may provide information about the history of tables, how to use tables… tips for staining them… and so on, for example. These items help you to become the resource these individuals need to have.

4. Be the expert For those who play a role in your website (and this is a very good thing) be sure that people who visit your website know that you are the expert in the field. You should stand out as being the authority. You do this when you provide valuable content to them. Do the hard research and find those interesting subjects to talk about. Answer questions. Relate to your customer base.

When you put these items together, the end result is very simple. You have a website that is packed with great content that people can naturally benefit from reading.

Chances are also good that you also have a website that is filled with quality keywords. After all, if you are writing about your topic and exploring all areas of it, you likely are using the most important words related to it. Still, you should still do some research and get better quality keywords into your work.

USING KEYWORDS PROPERLY –

There is no better way to rank your quality content in the search engines than to use keywords properly. It is often the case that website owners see this as a step they can skip. Instead of doing the research to find the right keywords for their websites, they think they already know what they are. This is often not the case.

FINDING THE RIGHT KEYWORDS –

Finding the right keywords is a process that often involves researching using any of the free keyword search tools available. You can also use Google’s service to help you to do this.

Once you use these services, you are likely to get a list of keywords associated with your primarily keyword. In our case, the keyword we plugged in is the word “tables.” As you are creating your table website, you have likely used a number of words that describe this product. But, did you include all of the most important words?

—–>”Jaaxy is the industry’s only keyword and research platform that was developed by affiliate marketers FOR affiliate marketers” Check Out Jaaxy Here <------ The top keywords, those used most often by users who are searching for the topic you have, should be included on your website. They do not have to be the only words that you use, though. These first words are heavily used and should be used at least somewhat in your website's content where it is appropriate to do so. For example, with the word "table," the top five keywords used included:  Tables  Pub Table  Pedestal Table  Dining Table  Glass Table These words are going to be mentioned on your website because they are commonly used words for your niche. What about those other keywords in the list? If you look down the list, you will see other words that could relate to your website. They look good, but fewer people are using them to find information online. Often, it is best to include some of these too. The reason for doing so is very simple. Most other website owners who are targeting keywords for their websites are using those top-tier words as well. There is a lot of competition out there for those words. Therefore, even with a great website, there are likely others fighting right along with you. Since the other words have less competition, you are more likely to rank well in the search page results for those keywords. In the table example, the words "pedestal dining table," "modern dining table," Glass coffee table," and "square tables" got far fewer hits than those top-tier keywords. The lower competition still makes them valuable. Use a combination of those top-tier words and those that are far more specific if they relate to your website. This unique combination will ultimately give you better results in the long term. WHERE TO USE KEYWORDS - Now that you know which keywords you should have on your website, the next step is to consider the placement of keywords on your website. As mentioned earlier, there are various locations on your website that you can use keywords. Use all of these locations for keywords. Within each of those documents, you need to place keywords in the right locations. There are several things to keep in mind in the case of blogs and articles/web content. The following guidelines can help you to place keywords into these mediums appropriately. 1. Place keywords in the title of each page or article The best way to place keywords in the title is in the following format. "KEYWORD GOES HERE: Interesting Content Goes Here." An example for the table website might be, "Pedestal Dining Table: 3 Tips for Buying the Right Dining Table." This shows the search engines the importance of this word. 2. Within the first 90 characters of the first paragraph, be sure your keyword appears again Also, it is important to note that you can use a mixture of keywords, but do consider having one or two primary keywords per article. Primary keywords should be located in these locations. Again, this early positioning helps to show the importance of the keyword to that page. 3. Use keywords in each of the paragraphs that you write on each page Do not overdo it, though. For example, you do not want your primary keyword to show up more than one or two times in each paragraph, depending on their length. 4. Break up text using subheadings Use secondary keywords in your subheadings. These will be positioned between paragraphs. Not every paragraph needs them, but sections of the article can be divided this way for easy reading benefits and keyword boosts. 5. Use keywords in the HTML for your website too This includes using them in each individual blog post/article that you post. This also helps with page ranking. Use a combination of keywords in each of your articles, but do not put too many into them. If that sounds confusing, it is because there is no hard and fast rule. What you want to do is to divide up the pages on your website or in your blog posts so that over the course of all of the pages, you use all the keywords you would like to use. Do not try to put all of your keywords for your website into every article you write. It won't work and will deflate the quality of each page considerably. For example, one blog post may include the keyword "dining table"; in that article, words like "dining room table" and "square table" may be included, but not many more than that. KEYWORD DENSITY - Keyword density is the amount of keywords on any one page in comparison to the number of words on this page. A few years back, it was common for the "less than expert" Internet marketers to try and work in high keyword density numbers. More keywords sounded horrible, but many thought that this would boost their search engine results pages significantly. The problem is that this does not work. It hurts your page ranking and causes you to have awkward sounding content on your website. Content is king, though, remember, and therefore, you need to make changes to this significantly. The question is, then, how much density should you go for? This is really up to you to decide since each page will be different, but most experts agree that you want a density that is under 5 percent. In most cases, only 2 to 3 percent keyword density is best. To compute keyword density, you simply need to take the number of times that the keyword appears in the page's text and divide that by the number of words on the page. For example, if the word "dining table" appears 8 times in our 400-word blog post, you would divide 8 by 400 words and get 0.02 or 2 percent. Do take the time to do this for your articles. You do want to ensure that there are plenty of keywords but not too many. If you would rather not waste your time on calculating density, there are free and paid software programs available online that will calculate the density for you. These are helpful when they are accurate. You do not have to be 100 percent accurate here. KEEP IN MIND -  Quality content is vitally important to the success of your website. Write your content to be quality content first.  Go back and insert keywords as they fit into the content you have written.  Do base topics and blog posts around keywords that are important. For example, choose a top ten list of tips for repairing dining room tables... this makes keyword usage easier and more effective. Plus, the reader gets it.  Do no obsess about keywords. You do not have to have a lot of them on the website to see results. Choose a good mix and include them in each article, but only as they fit with your topic appropriately. Finally, take the time to stay up-to-date on the changes that search engine companies make to their methods. This will ultimately enable your website to grow and stretch as the times change. It is very rare that you have to redo the entire site. Plus, if you do not want to do the work of all this "fixing," you can hire someone to do it for you.
